Many regions in the country, if recovered, have the potential to attract more tourists. So, selecting and identifying tourist destination areas based on as a set of historical, natural and cultural attractions, is a strategic decision. Based on the multiple verification technique, voting system as a community-based approach can make more realistic decisions. One of the advantages of this technique, while taking into account quantitative and qualitative criteria, is the decision-making based on the voting system, the wisdom of the crowd and simplicity of its application. In this research, the tourism destinations’ efficiency in Semnan province has been studied in the form of a case study, by experts in tourism, geography, and urban and rural planning. According to the results, Shahmirzad, Mehdishahr of Semnan, Cloud Forest and Cloud Village of Shahroud have been introduced as tourist destinations in this province, which can attract more tourists by improving the shortcomings. %U https://jut.ut.ac.ir/article_64597_f3ecc1848e63bc77575681003f0f2988.pdf
