Residents’ Support for Tourism Development: The Role of the Place Image and the Tourism Imagery Effects
Tourism can be considered as one of the most suitable options for the country development. Because this industry can provide economic, socio-cultural, and environmental benefits for local, national and regional residents. But what should not be left out, is the role of people’s support in industry development. Accordingly, people should be involved in decision-making and the industry development in order to participate in plans implementation. So that a suitable basis can be provided for the tourism development. In this research, using the descriptive-correlational method, it has been tried to examine the residents' support for tourism development, considering the role of the place image and the tourism image in the local community of Badreh. The statistical population consisted of all the residents of Badreh county, among which, Using cluster sampling, 225 people (90 men, and 135 women) were selected as the study sample. All of them completed the scale of residents’ support for the tourism development, the place image, and the imaginative effects of tourism (economic, socio-cultural, and environmental). The questionnaires’ reliability was calculated by Cronbach’s alpha, and their validity was calculated using the internal consistency method. Using the regression, the hypothesized model was analyzed in a sequential manner using the Baron and Kenny (1986) proposed steps.
According to the results, the place image with the residents has a direct effect on their support for tourism development. The place image with the residents, by mediating the residents’ economic imaginary effects, has an indirect impact on the residents’ support for the tourism development. Also, the place image with the residents, by mediating the socio-cultural imaginary effects, has an indirect impact on the residents’ support for the tourism development. But the place image with the residents, by mediating the environmental imaginary effects, does not have an indirect impact on the residents’ support for the tourism development. The place image with the residents can directly and indirectly influence on the residents’ support for the tourism development, by mediating the economic and socio-cultural imaginary effects.

The Exchange Regimes’ Effect on International Tourism Flow in Selected Islamic Countries (Gravity Approach)
The tourism industry, as one of the world’s most profitable industries, can play an important role in the economic growth of countries. Tourism includes services that have a great impact on economic and social activities. In this regard, despite the presence of foreign exchange regimes as one of the factors affecting the tourism flow, few studies have been conducted on the effect of foreign exchange regimes on tourism flow. Recent developments in classifying the foreign exchange regimes have stimulated the study of the foreign exchange regimes effects on international tourism flow. This study has used gravity and panel data to estimate the tourists’ number from the entire world to selected Islamic countries (14 countries) including Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Oman during the 1993–1993 period. Results show that the fixed exchange regime has a positive significant effect on the tourism trend, and maintaining the exchange rate stability to attract international tourists is very important. Also, trade, GDP, distance, population, having a common language, and colonialism have a positive effect on the tourism flow, and the effective exchange rate variable, nominal exchange rate, and the presence of a common commercial agreement have a negative effect on the tourism flow. All coefficients are statistically significant except for the colloquial variables and having a common commercial agreement.

Investigating the Relationship between Subjective Indices Raised by Local Society’s Perception and Attitudes and Improving the Tourism Industry Quality (Case Study: Alborz Province)
Implementation of tourism development plans at local, national and international levels, is one of the measures taken in developed and developing countries in order for sustainable development and reducing economic, social and environmental pressures. Tourism is one of the cleanest industries of the present day, and has attracted the various governments and countries’ attention. The main objective of this research is to study the factors affecting the improvement of tourism industry in Alborz province. This paper is applied in terms of method and nature, and descriptive-correlation in terms of purpose. A standardized questionnaire and SPSS software were used for data analysis. According to the results, economic infrastructures, environmental sustainability, socio-cultural sustainability, subjective indices based on the perception and attitude of local communities, and political-security sustainability have a relationship with improving the tourism quality in Alborz province. Based on the Friedman test, the factor of socio-cultural sustainability (reduction of hostility with science and industry, reduction of delinquency, participation in the cultural heritage preservation) with a mean score of 6.67 is in the first place. After that, the factors of environmental sustainability, poverty reduction and income distribution, and political-security sustainability, with very little distance, are in the second, third and fourth places. Finally, the factors of the economic infrastructures (the increasing growth of infrastructures and tourism resources as a necessity), and mental indices, with a distance greater than the first four factors, are ranked fifth and sixth, respectively

Assessing the Domestic Tourists’ Sense of Security and Comfort (Case Study: The Coastal City of Bandar Ganaveh)
People need an environment which provide them with comfort and relaxation, in order to spend their leisure and recreation, and to meet their individual and spiritual needs. In this condition, security is very important. The purpose of this study is to measure the sense of security and comfort of the domestic tourists of the coastal city of Ganaveh. The research is descriptive-analytical based on a survey method. The statistical population of the study area includes domestic tourists who traveled to Ganavah in summer 2016 and stayed in the city for one week, during which researchers were able to collect 228 questionnaires. The reliability of the data was calculated by Cronbach test as 0.745. For data analysis, Pearson correlation and Spearman, single sample T-test, and step-by-step regression were used. Results showed that there was a direct significant relationship between the tourists’ education and their sense of security. So that as their level of education increases, their sense of security increases too. But their income level does not have a direct significant relationship with their sense of security. T-test results showed that the tourists’ satisfaction from the area’s facilities and services (at an error level of 0.05) was below the desired level. Results of step-by-step regression showed that the catering facilities with beta of 0.223 had the most impact, and the accommodation facilities index with beta coefficient of 0.191 had the least impact on the tourists’ security and comfort in Ganavah. Therefore, planning for all indices is needed to provide tourists with comfort and security. In this regard, the authorities and managers of Genoa should take the necessary steps to improve tourism, and contribute to the region development.
