Evaluation and assessment of Kazeroon City tourism in line with the realization of the creative tourism model

Abstract

Introduction

Achieving a creative city requires the existence of a creative class in the society, and it seems that one of the appropriate ways to recognize and attract the creative class is to use the tourism industry. In this process, tourism, due to its multidimensional nature, can provide the basis for the better development of the city through the development of cultural and creative tourism. Therefore, if this industry (tourism) is used creatively, it can have many positive results for both the tourist community and the host community. Therefore, paying attention to the effective factors in the development of creative tourism and planning to realize this concept is a must. In this regard, according to the importance of urban tourism and the issues raised in the introduction, the present research aims to investigate and evaluate the tourism potential of Kazeroon City to create a model of creative tourism at the level of this city. The research questions include: 1- What potential does Kazeroon have for the realization of creative tourism? 2- What is the status of the indicators of creative tourism in Kazeron city in terms of the realization of creative tourism? During the steps of conducting the present research, the research conducted by some researchers has been referred to. The findings of the mentioned research are consistent with the findings of the present research. The difference between this research and other research is the research method, the area under study, and the variables used.



Methodology

According to its nature, the present research is applied-developmental and based on a descriptive-analytical method. Information about the current situation has been collected from two methods of library and field studies (questionnaire). The statistical population of Kazeroon City and the statistical sample of the research are 50 experts in the field of tourism and residents. To examine the variables of the research, four major tourism indicators and also five basic preconditions for the realization of the creative city have been used. SPSS software and Friedman and T-tests were used to analyze the questionnaire data.

Results and discussion

To investigate and evaluate the tourism potential of Kazeroon City to create creative tourism, four major tourism indicators have been used including historical and architectural attractions, natural attractions, social and cultural indicators, and infrastructure index. According to the results, in terms of the above indicators, Kazeroon has great potential and diversity in terms of creating creative tourism. A T-test was used to investigate the feasibility of creative tourism in Kazeron City according to the five basic preconditions for the realization of a creative city and creative tourism. According to the results, the social capital component at the level of Kazeroon City has a higher level than other components and is a factor in the development and creation of creative tourism. On the other hand, the leadership and management component at the level of Kazeroon City has a lower level of creative tourism than other components. The results of Friedman's test show that the index of social capital, initiative, and innovation, index of flexibility and acceptance according to the average rank and their significance level are in a favorable situation in terms of creating creative tourism compared to the other two indices. are located.



Conclusion

Kazeroon City with its ancient history, has many ancient and historical monuments belonging to different eras, traditional architectural heritage, handicrafts, souvenirs, and local foods, in addition to various and many tourist attractions available in the city, historical and natural attractions. , religious, and... it is the destination of many domestic and foreign tourists throughout the year. The results of the analysis of the questionnaire data indicate that Kazeron City has a lot of potential and capacity in terms of the investigated indicators in connection with the creation of creative tourism. The results of the t-test indicate that the social capital index at the level of Kazeroon City about creative tourism has a higher level than other components. The existence of social capital in Kazeroon City is a factor in the development and creation of creative tourism. The results of Friedman's test also show that the social capital index, initiative and innovation index, and flexibility and acceptance index according to their rank average and significance level are in a favorable situation in terms of creating creative tourism compared to two other indicators. However, the risk-taking index and the leadership and management index have a lower level. Regarding the selection of research indicators and also comparing the results obtained in this research with the research findings of other researchers, the results of the research of other researchers indicate that it is completely consistent with the research of other researchers.
