فراگیر شدن گردشگری خانوادگی و مصرف روزافزون آن توسط خانوادهها، و همچنین نیازهای متنوعی که توسط گردشگران خانوادگی مطرح میشود، اهمیت تولید و گسترش دانشبنیادی از نحوه رفتار خانوادهها در گردشگری را برجسته میسازد. بر این اساس، هدف اصلی پژوهش حاضر، ارائه مدلی برای شناخت و درک فضا و چرخه شکلگیری رفتار گردشگران خانوادگی در فرآیند برنامهریزی و انجام سفر است. ماهیت روش پژوهش، کیفی و مبتنی بر رهیافت فراترکیب بر اساس الگوی هفتگامی سندلوسکی و باروسو میباشد. تحلیل دادهها از طریق کدگذاری سه مرحلهای و دو کدگذار انجام شد. بر اساس مراحل فراترکیب، از 23 مقاله منتخب، 251 مفهوم، 40 زیر مؤلفه، 16 مؤلفه، شش محور اصلی و دو بستر، استخراج، کدگذاری و مدلسازی شدند. بستر بیرونی، با عنوان «فضای شکلگیری رفتار گردشگران خانوادگی» برای ابعاد "سبک زندگی خانوادگی" (با مؤلفههای: شهروندی خانوادگی و ساختار خانوادگی)، "فرآیند برنامهریزی گردشگری" (با مؤلفههای: نقشآفرینی در خانه، حس مسیر، تجربه مقصد و دستاوردها و یادآوری) و "عناصر گردشگری" (با مؤلفههای: حملونقل، تغذیه، اقامت، فعالیتها) و از طرفی، بستر درونی با عنوان «چرخه شکلگیری رفتار گردشگران خانوادگی» برای ابعاد "شکلدهندهها" (با مؤلفههای: انگیزش و تعیین گرها)، "تجارب" (با مؤلفههای: اقدامات و نقشها) و "نتایج" (با مؤلفههای: مزایا و بازخورد) در نظر گرفته شدند. بهعنوان مهمترین نتیجه پژوهش حاضر، در راستای نامتعارف زدایی و باز اجتماعی سازی مبانی نظری رفتار گردشگر برای رفتار گردشگران خانوادگی، با یک دیدگاه خانوادگی و قرار دادن خانواده در مرکز پژوهشهای رفتار گردشگر، مدل رفتار گردشگران خانوادگی با عنوان فضا و چرخه شکلگیری رفتار گردشگران خانوادگی ارائه گردید. این مدل، بهعنوان یک ابزار مهم در صنعت گردشگری، بهمنظور درک بهتر تنوع فرهنگی و اجتماعی، نیازها، ترجیحات و رفتار خانوادهها و پوشش نسبی شکاف علمی خواهد بود.
